CUMBRE DEL SAJAMA PERFORMED AN APPROACH WORK BETWEEN THE COMMUNITIES OF MACHACAMARCA ALTA AND QUELLANI WITH ESMICAL (SPECIALIST IN LIMESTONE MINERALS) TO ANNOUNCE THE WORKS THAT THE COMPANY DOES NEAR TO THOSE COMMUNITIES.

WOMEN MINERS IN BOLIVIA – 2017

CUMBRE DEL SAJAMA, WITH THE SUPPORT OF SOLIDARIDAD DEL PERU NGO, IS CARRYING OUT THE FIRST PHASE OF THE PROJECT DENOMINATED 'WOMEN MINERS IN BOLIVIA' FROM WHICH THE FOLLOWING RESULTS ARE EXPECTED:CONSOLIDATE A OF MINING WOMEN PLATFORM (RED NACIONAL MUJERES Y MINERIA - RNMM) TO ACHIEVE THEIR VISIBILIZATION BERFORE THE STATE AND THE CIVIL SOCIETY. IN THIS FIRST PHASE, THE WOMEN'S MINING COLLOQUIUM WAS CARRIED OUT IN BOLIVIA, WHERE WOMEN WORKERS PRESENTED THEIR TESTIMONIES IN RELATION TO THE WORK THEY REALICE. ALSO, THE DOCUMENT 'SOCIOECONOMIC BASE LINE FOR WOMEN AND MINING' WAS PRESENTED.

GOLD SYMPOSIUM - 2017

CUMBRE DEL SAJAMA, WITH FECOMAN AND FERRECO FEDERATIONS CARRIED OUY THE GOLD SYMPOSIUM 2017 AIMING TO VISIBILIZE THE CONTRIBUTION OF THE AURIFEROUS COOPERATIVE SECTOR TO THE BOLIVIAN ECONOMY, ITS IMPORTANCE IN THE GENERATION OF CURRENCIES, ROYALTIES, EMPLOYMENT AND SERVICES, EVALUATE THE GEOLOGICAL AURÍFEROUM POTENTIAL OF THE NATIONAL TERRITORY, AT THE SAME TIME TO EXAMINE THE SECTORIAL PROBLEMS WITH AIM TO ACHIEVE INCIDENCE IN THE PUBLIC POLICIES. A DIAGNOSTIC OF THE SITUATION OF WOMEN IN MINING ACTIVITIES IN BOLIVIA BASED ON A SOCIOECONOMIC, CULTURAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL BASE LINE WAS DONE, FROM WHICH A STRATEGIC PLAN 2017-2020 FOR THE STRENGTHENING AND EMPOWERMENT OF BOLIVIA MINING WOMEN WAS DESIGNED THROUGH A PLATFORM OR NETWORK OF WOMEN MINERS.

ELABORATION OF STRATEGY AND GUIDELINES FOR EMIPA’S SOCIAL PROGRAM - 2016

AN STRATEGY TO DEFINE THE CHARACTERISTICS, CONDITIONS, REACH AND ACTIONS FOR THE FUTURE RELATIONSHIP OF EMIPA WITH THE COMMUNITIES FROM ITS OPERATIONS INFLUENCE AREA , IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE PRINCIPLES OF CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR), WITH THE PURPOSE OF SITTING BASES FOR A SOCIAL PLAN, WHICH GUARANTEE A GOOD, BALANCED, FAIR AND PEACEFUL RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EMIPA AND THE COMMUNITIES SCRATCHES TO THE MINING OPERATION.

SOCIOECONOMIC BASE LINES OF THE COMMUNITIES OF SAN CRISTOBAL, CULPINA K AND VILA VILA - 2016

A COMPREHENSIVE STUDY OF SOCIOECONOMIC BASE LINE OF THE COMMUNITIES OF SAN CRISTÓBAL, CULPINA K Y AND VILA VILA WAS ELABORATED, WITH THE DATA RAISING THROUGH A CENSUS, ON THE CHARACTERIZATION AND USE OF NATURAL RESOURCES, PRODUCTION SYSTEMS, ECONOMY, BASIC SERVICES, ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECTS.

DEVELOPMENT OF MARKET INCENTIVES AND FORMALIZATION IN ARTISAN AND SMALL SCALE MINING OF GOLD 2015 - 2016

IMPROVEMENT PLANS FOR THREE BENEFICIARY COOPERATIVES HAVE BEEN IMPLEMENTED: MINING COOPERATIVE YANI LTDA., MINING COOPERATIVE SEÑOR DE MAYO LTDA. AND MINING COOPERATIVE INGENIO LTDA., PREVIOUSLY CARRYING OUT A TRAINING PROGRAM IN 'KNOWING THE FAIRMINED CERTIFICATION FOR GOLD', 'COMMUNITY RELATIONSHIP AND QUALITY OF LIFE IN THE COOPERATIVE', 'GENDER EQUITY', AND 'INTERNAL CONTROL SYSTEM'. THE OBJECTIVE OF THESE ACTIVITIES WAS TO KNOW THE REQUIREMENTS, AND THE IMPLEMENTATION OF GOOD PRACTICES FOR THE CERTIFICATION PROCESS AND THE COMMITMENTS THAT SHOULD BE ASSUMED TO CARRY OUT A JOINT WORK FOR THE ACHIEVEMENT OF A FAIRMINED CERTIFICATION.

COMMUNITY RELATIONS STRATEGY FOR THE MINING COMPANY TAHUAMANU 2013 - 2014

A WORK OF APPROACH WITH THE COMMUNITIES OF THE ENVIRONMENT OF TAHUAMANU CONCESSIONS WAS PERFORMED TO ANNOUNCE THE WORK THAT THE COMPANY WOULD CARRY OUT IN THE EXPLORATION PHASE. ALSO, THE RELATIONSHIP STRATEGY FOR THE COMPANY WAS ELABORATED IN ORDER TO PREVENT POSSIBLE CONFLICTS IN THE SHORT AND LONG TERM.

STUDY ON ILLEGAL MINING IN BOLIVIA 2013 - 2014

THE OBJECTIVE WAS TO GENERATE UPDATED BASIC LINE INFORMATION ON THE SITUATION OF ILLEGAL MINING IN BOLIVIA, WHICH WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE FORMULATION OF FORMALIZATION POLICIES AND STRATEGIES, ON THE BASIS OF OWN EVIDENCE AND DIAGNOSTICS. ALSO, THE REGIONS OF GREATER CONCENTRATION OF ILLEGAL MINING IN THE NATIONAL TERRITORY WERE STUDIED TO IDENTIFY THE VARIOUS TYPES OF MINING, METHODS OF EXPLOITATION AND DEGREES OF MECHANIZATION, AS THE MODALITY OF OPERATION, WHICH INCLUDES BOTH COLLECTIVE AND INDIVIDUAL MINING OPERATIONS.

STUDY TO FINAL DESIGN AND CONSTITUTION OF THE MINING TRAINING CENTER 2013 - 2014

THE STUDY TO FINAL DESIGN WAS PREPARED FOR THE CREATION, ORGANIZATION AND FUNCTIONING OF THE MINING TRAINING CENTER FROM THE TECHNICAL, LEGAL, ECONOMIC, SOCIAL AND INSTITUTIONAL POINT OF VIEW WITH THE CONSOLIDATION OF THE LEGAL CONSTITUTION WITH NATIONAL COVERAGE, THE MINISTRY OF MINING AND METALLURGY WILL FINISH THE CONSTITUTION AND THE MINING TRAINING CENTER WILL BE OPENED IN ADVANCE THROUGH ITS COMPETENT FUNCTIONS.

THE KNOWLEDGE ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF OPEN HEAVEN MINING ACTIVITY WAS EXPANDED AND REINFORCED, SUPPORTING ALSO THE LABOR DISCIPLINE OF MINE WORK WITH IDENTIFICATION OF LEADING POTENTIALS. IN ADDITION, THE WORK WITH THE TRAINING IN PROCESSES AND MACHINERY ISSUES OF A MINERAL TREATMENT PLANT TO ALL THE WORKERS OF THE MINING COMPANY.

SUPPORT PROGRAM FOR CRAFT AND SMALL SCALE MINING PRODUCERS IN BOLIVIA FOR THE FAIR TRADE GOLD CERTIFICATION 2009 - 2010

THE CERTIFICATION OF THE GOLD MINING COOPERATIVE COTAPATA LTDA. WAS ACHIEVED, MAKING THIS N THE FIRST MINING ORGANIZATION IN THE WORLD THAT CAN COMMERCIALIZE THE GOLD PRODUCED WITH THE FAIRTRADE / FAIRMINED SEAL, BENEFITING MORE THAN 90 MALE AND FEMALE MINERS AND THEIR FAMILIES. AN APPROACH BETWEEN GOVERNMENT, MINING FEDERATIONS AND COOPERATIVES TO TALK ABOUT THE THEME OF GOLD COMMERCIALIZATION WAS ACHIEVED, BESIDES THE STRENGTHEN OF THE GENDER APPROACH IN THE GOLD MINING COOPERATIVES.

IMPROVING LIFE FROM THE KITCHEN 2008 - 2010

THE PROYECT INFLUENCED IN THE IMPROVEMENT OF HEALTH AND LIFE QUALITY OF FAMILIES IN DIFFERENT MUNICIPALITIES OF BOLIVIA, PROMOTING ACCESS AND SUPPLY OF IMPROVED KITCHENS, THROUGH THE TRANSFER OF SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY TO POSITIVELY INFLUENCE THE HEALTH OF FAMILIES ESPECIALLY OF WOMEN AND CHILDREN. THE IMPACT OF THE PROJECT BENEFITED OVER 700 FAMILIES

PROJECT COMMUNITY FUND FOR THE COMMUNITIES OF CHUQUIÑA, LA JOYA AND IROCO 2009 - 2010

MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITIES OF CHUQUIÑA, LA JOYA AND IROCO WERE INFORMED ABOUT THE BENEFITS AND PURPOSE OF THE 'COMMUNITY FUND', WHICH THE INTI RAYMI COMPANY PLANNED TO ASSIGN, WITH THE PURPOSE OF PREVENTING FUTURE CONFLICTS AND COMPENSATING THE FAMILIES , WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE PROGRAMS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF EXTERNAL AND COMMUNITY RELATIONS (REC). IN ADDITION, THE COMMUNITIES WERE MOTIVATED TO DEVELOP A PARTICIPATORY PLAN FOR THE MANAGEMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF THE ASSIGNED FUND.
