Cumbre del Sajama is a private company with social vision. Sajama offers technical support, training and advice to small mining companies, mining cooperatives, mining communities and large scale mining companies located in Bolivia and in Latin American countries. It was constituted in La Paz-Bolivia in 1997 and is integrated by a multipurpose professional staff, with a wide experience in mining, social, technical, lawful and environmental topics. Mission
High-priority task is to promote and support mining initiatives around the country and in other foreign nations, based in programs of social responsibility to guarantee an appropriate economic, legal, social and environmental development; to extend training programs, advices and the implementation of strategic objectives and relationship through implementation of new long term tools.

Cumbre del Sajama offers advice for social, labor and economical improvement of mining projects, assisting to upgrade relationship conditions between the different stakeholders. Cumbre del Sajama offers training programs and technical support for small mining, cooperatives, artisanal mining and communities to improve social, economic and labor conditions of the people involved in this activities, helping to raise the quality of life, safety in the work, new reinvestment opportunities and other innovative initiatives.
Main Activities Of Cumbre Del Sajama S.A.  Training courses directed to the different mining stakeholders in the following areas: social, economic, legal framework, environmental issues, mining techniques, safety at work, communitarian relationship, prevention and management of mining conflicts.
To promote and advice to private mining companies and mining cooperatives to implement the concept of responsible mining through social, labor, economical and environmental development. Training programs for mining workers about domestic and foreign mining normative. Promote the relationship between the mining companies, indigenous people, communities and the government. Training to different communities near to mining projects in several social topics, such as: defense of woman rights, gender topics, children rights, domestic violence, sexual health and family issues. Build up of communicational strategies to transmit information to the communities, with the purpose of maintaining and improving the good image of large scale mining companies.
